1. What made you want to compete?
After having great focus on running I wanted to switch it up and reach another fitness goal. I thought that competiting would be another accomplishment and keep me focused during working out knowing that I had something to work towards.
2. What do you do to stay inspired?
To stay inspired I switch up my workouts so I do not get bored and have a great support system at my gym. I am the 5am gym goer where I feel like I have a “gym family.” Having people that you see each day helps to keep you in check and going to the gym because if you miss, then friends will be asking where you were and guilt sets in very quickly! Also, reading fitness magazines always has inspiring stories and new workouts that always help to keep working out interesting.
3. What shows have you already been in or plan to be in in the future?
This is my first show and I already have plans to compete again in April!
4. Who got you started?
I have to give all credit to my trainer, Marjan Zaun to getting me started on this road to competing. I met her at a TRX studio, Yoga Sakti that I take classes at where she is an instructor and one day in class she quickly mentioned anyone who would be interested in a fitness competition to speak with her. I was looking for a new fitness goal and thought, here is my new goal! I have gained not only an amazing trainer who inspires me each day but a great friend. This woman proves that while having a career and family there is still time to stay healthy and fit.
6. Where do you usually workout?
I work out at the Boston Sports Clubs in Woburn, MA.

My most noticeable results are my arms.
9. Has fitness changed your life? If so, how?
Fitness has changed my life and I love it. After high school, I joined a gym and started off slowly and now would consider myself a gym rat. Fitness is not only something that I know is good for the human body but makes me feel great and I have a true passion for it. Healthy habits
10. What personal fitness goals have you set for yourself?
I have set a few running goals for myself which I have accomplished; half marathon and full marathon. My next goal is to compete in more the fitness competitions and place. 18. What are challenges that you face that may keep you from reaching your fitness goals?
When training for the Boston Marathon, I was challenged with a stress fracture in my foot that sidelined me for that year. It was a mental obstacle that I took harder than I thought I ever would, but began working to strenghten and train to complete my goal which I did this past April.
